Dr. Thad Riley
Thad H. Riley, MD is a board-certified family practice physician. Dr. Riley completed his B.S. Degree in Biology and Chemistry at the University of South Carolina and his MD Degree at the Medical University of South Carolina. Dr. Riley presently serves on the Georgia Board of Family Practice and has received national NCQA recognition for excellence in diabetes care. He also serves as a Clinical Professor of Family Medicine at Mercer and Georgia Health Sciences University medical schools. Dr. Riley enjoys all aspects of family medicine but has taken a special interest in the care of persons with diabetes as he became one of the first Georgia Physicians to meet the criteria for the designation of Master Diabetes Clinician.

Dr. Angela Davis
Angela Davis, MD is a board certified family practice physician. She completed her undergraduate degree in Chemistry at Augusta State University and her MD degree at the Medical College of Georgia. She completed her family medicine residency at Spartanburg Regional in South Carolina. Dr. Davis serves as a Clinical Professor of Family Medicine for Georgia Health Sciences University medical school and a clinical preceptor for Mercer University medical school. She enjoys all aspects of family medicine, but she is particularly fond of pediatrics and women's health. She has also earned the designation of Master Diabetes Clinician and achieved recognition by NCQA for excellence in diabetes care.

Dr. Zach McGalliard
Zachary R. McGalliard MD is a board-certified family practice physician. Dr. McGalliard completed his BS degree in Chemistry and Psychology at Georgia Southern University graduating Magna Cum Laude. He continued at Georgia Southern obtaining a master’s degree in public health Epidemiology. Zach went on to receive his MD degree at Mercer University School of Medicine.
Dr. McGalliard completed his 3-year family medicine residency at Memorial Medical Center in Savannah and served as Chief Resident. He received the Family Practice Resident of the Year award for the state of Georgia in 2021. Dr. McGalliard was able to have some rotations during medical school at FHCC. He enjoys all aspects of family medicine from newborns to seniors. When not working he enjoys spending time with his 3 lovely children and wife.

Kelly Tillman MSN, FNP-BC
Kelly Tillman, MSN, FNP-BC is a board certified Family Nurse Practitioner. She completed her bachelors of Nursing at Armstrong University and her Masters of Nursing and Nurse Practitioner education at Georgia Southern University. Kelly has worked at Memorial Hospital in Savannah in the Emergency Room for over 14 years first as a RN then as a Nurse Practitioner. She is certified in advance life support (ACLS) as well as pediatric advance life support (PALS). Kelly competed some of her clinical rotations for GSU here at Family Health Care. Kelly lives in Statesboro with her husband and family and enjoys running for fun and fitness. She cares for patients across the life span from newborns to seniors.

Kellie Whitener MSN, FNP-BC
Kellie Whitener, MSN, FNP-BC is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner. She completed her Bachelor of Nursing at Armstrong University and her Masters of Nursing and Nurse Practitioner education at Georgia Southern University. Kellie worked at East Georgia Regional Medical Center in the Emergency Room for 10 years as a RN. She is certified in advance life support (ACLS) as well as pediatric advance life support (PALS). Kellie lives in Statesboro with her husband and three boys. She cares for patients across the life span from newborns to seniors.

Alex Weathersby MSN, FNP-BC
Alex Weathersby, MSN, FNP is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner. She completed both her Bachelor’s and Master’s degree and Nurse Practitioner education at Georgia Southern University. As a R.N. she worked at EGRMC in the Emergency room. She joined Family Health Care Center upon graduation as a Family Nurse Practitioner in 2014. In 2018, she moved to South Carolina for 2 years while her husband completed his Graduate education and returned to Family Health Care in 2020. Alex completed extra classes in diabetes care and insulin pump management though the Association of Diabetes Care & Education Specialists and works with patient’s special diabetes needs. She cares for all ages from newborns to seniors. When not working she enjoys time with her husband and two lovely children.
